  • Adjust if needed (too many alerts? too few?)
  • Review Protected Floor amount
  • Adjust if needed
  • Set up cooling-off timers for specific amounts

  • Review spending reports
  • Celebrate wins (no impulses? savings growing?)
  • Third weekly check-in with partner

Month 1 Review

  • How many impulses prevented?
  • How much saved?
  • What worked well?
  • What needs adjustment?
  • Set goals for month 2

Common First Month Challenges

"I Keep Getting Alerts"

Solution: This is normal! Alerts mean it's working. After 2-3 weeks, you'll have fewer alerts as habits change.

"My Partner Isn't Responding"

Solution: Have honest conversation. Maybe they need different notification settings. Or find different partner.

"Protected Floor Feels Too Restrictive"

Solution: Adjust amount. Protected Floor should protect essentials, not restrict all spending.

"I'm Not Seeing Results"

Solution: Give it time. First month is about building awareness. Results come in months 2-3.
